We look forward to the Annual Taste of Little Italy!

Restaurants will prepare 750 portions of your “taste” for this event. Please vary your menu item from what you have served in the past. This is your chance to showcase something new and exciting that you’re offering!
Little Italy Events will coordinate each restaurant’s date of participation and the overall menu for each evening based on the order of sign-up dates and will contact restaurants to discuss any changes based on duplications. Restaurants that register early will have the best opportunity to provide their first choice for the tasting menu. Unless you request to participate on both days, each restaurant will participate on only one of the two event days, determined by our staff.
This event allows you to:
• Attract new customers to your restaurant
• Encourage repeat patronage
• Provide an opportunity for you to build contact lists
• Emphasize the unique dining destination that is Little Italy
• Take part in fundraising to support the many neighborhood improvement
projects of the Little Italy Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Promotional benefits include TV news media, monthly newsletters, listing on the Taste of Little Italy website (littleitalysd.com), inclusion on Little Italy social media posts and printed promo materials.
How it works:
Attendees purchase tickets for a flat fee on the event website. On the day of the event, they head to the designated check-in area where they receive their Taste Passport, then stroll from restaurant to restaurant to experience the ambiance of each unique establishment. There is NO CHARGE for businesses, just provide the tastes, physical space to serve, and staff. Little Italy Events will provide participating restaurants with disposables (plates, forks, etc.)
